WSOC | Romagnolo Adds Four Freshmen on Signing Day from 2025 Class

MORAGA, Calif. - After the conclusion of the 2024 season, head coach Theresa Romagnolo announced four commits from the class of 2025 on National Signing Day. The Gaels have combined for 17 wins over their last two seasons and only graduated six seniors and two starters, allowing them to bring a deep and talented group back for the 2025 season.

"I am very excited about our incoming student-athletes. They each bring a high level of youth experience and we believe they will be ready to contribute immediately to the success of our program", said Romagnolo. "Each brings unique qualities to the pitch as well as strong character to our program. We pride ourselves on development and we can't wait to get started with this group."

Ashlyn Vaughn | Oceanside, Calif. | Forward

Club: Legends FC San Diego
High School: Temecula Valley High School
2023-24 Stats: 17 G, 3 ast., led the Southwestern League in goals

Faith Gunter | Monroe, Calif. | Defender

Club: Crossfire Premier
High School: Monroe High School

"Faith is a fantastic athletic defender who is physical, aerially dominant, and can build out of the back for us."

Madison Casado | Jurupa Valley, Calif. | Defender

Club: LA Breakers
High School: Upland High School

"Madison is a talented two-way defender. She is strong in the tackle and leadership of her line while also being able to start the attack and bring quality to the build out"

Soraya Souvanaphong | San Diego, Calif. | Goalkeeper

Club: San Diego Surf
High School: Westview High School
66 GP, 3,510 MP, 289 SV, 24-9-9 record

"Soraya is a powerful goalkeeper who is talented and accomplished at all facets of the game. She will bring a high level playing background to compete"
