AS A GRADUATE STUDENT (2024): Appeared in 17 games and made 12 starts for the Gaels... Linchey's 12 starts went down as second most on the team behind ace Eaquinto... Finished with a 4-4 record on the mound with a 7.78 ERA, 61.1 innings pitched and 45 strikeouts... His season high came in a conference start against rival Gonzaga where he went 8 strong innings, allowing just two hits and striking out four batters to earn his second win of the season (3/30).Â
AS A SENIOR (2023): Named First-Team All-Conference, appeared in 15 games with 11 starts, one of which was a complete game against Pacific on April 14th, 2023…..Struck out 55 batters in 75.1 innings….Finished with a 3.11 ERA……Recorded season-high eight strikeouts against Pepperdine on April 7th, 2023... After pitching five shutout innings against Santa Clara on March 18, the Alamo Calif. native made seven straight starts of six innings or more... He went 4-0 in his eight WCC starts, and finished with a 2.98 ERA in conference play.... Gaels were 8-2 in his 10 regular-season starts where he had an almost identical ERA including non-conference games with a 2.99... opponents hit a mere .217 against him... walked just 12 batters to 41 strikeouts, in 54.1 innings pitched in WCC play.
AS A JUNIOR (2022): Appeared in 12 games with two starts and a 2-3 record... walked 10 batters to 29 strikeouts in 26.1 innings... collected the win in a 10-5 victory at Cal with three scoreless innings... got the win at Stanford with five innings of one-run ball, with just one walk to seven strikeouts... pitched a season high 5.2 innings with just three runs allowed against Gonzaga.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Transferred from Los Medanos College... Appeared in 12 games as a senior at San Ramon Valley High in Danville, Calif.... Struck out 64 batters in 60 innings, with a 1.52 ERA and eight wins... held opponents to a .234 batting average.
