AS A SENIOR (2024): Appeared in all 56 games and made 55 starts for the Gaels in 2024... Third on the team with a .333 batting average and finished the season with a team high 75 hits, 16 doubles, 6 triples and 13 home runs... Had 22 multi-hit games and two 4-hit games both against Pepperdine (5/5)... Recorded ten hits in the team's conference series against Pepperdine and belted two home runs in the team's 14-10 victory over Pepperdine in the WCC tournament (5/22)... Named to the WCC First Teamfor his first all-conference selection of his career... Named to the CSC Academic All-District team with a 3.78 GPA.
AS A JUNIOR (2023): Appeared in 51 games, making 51 starts…..Batted .274… Recorded 52 hits over 190 at-bats including 8 doubles, 16 home runs, and 45 RBI's…..Hit 2 home runs in a game 2 times, once against San Diego, the other against BYU….. Recorded season-high 5 RBI's in WCC play in round vs San Diego, also the game where he hit 2 home runs…. His 16 home runs, tied with Almanza, are the second most in a season in SMC history.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022): started in 18 of his 40 appearances as a sophomore… batted .205 on the season with 6 home runs… Schmidt’s best performance came on May 15 against Portland when he tallied 2 hits, 3 RBI, 3 putouts, and included a home run

AS A FRESHMAN (2021): Appeared in 34 games and made 22 starts as a true freshman in Moraga...began the season as a pinch runner and defensive replacement, but eventually took over as starter in left field...hit .231 with 18 hits and seven extra-base hits (six doubles)...stole four bases in six tries...recorded his first career hit against Cal on March 4...his third-career hit was his first home run, a solo shot to left field on April 17 against Santa Clara...went 7-12 with three doubles and two RBI's during a three-game series against Pacific on April 23-24.Â
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S:Â Graduate of Reno High School..during his last full-season of high school ball (junior year, 2019), hit .342 for Reno HS, with 8 doubles, 6 triples, 6 home runs, and 37 runs batted in...also stole 9 bases...named NIAA 4A All-League and All-State Academic.
