AS A FIFTH YEAR (2024): Appeared in 19 games and made 5 starts for the Gaels... Sanders went 5-3 on the mound and finished with a 4.56 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP... Threw 53.1 innings allowing 27 runs and struckout 37 batters... Held opponents to a .268 average... Threw a season high 6.1 innings and allowed just three hits with four strikeouts in a 3-2 conference win vs. San Diego (3/22).
AS A SENIOR (2023): Appeared in 16 games with 6 starts….Struck out 41 over 46.2 innings…..Finished with a 3.47 ERA Recorded season-high 6 strikeouts in a matchup against San Francisco on April 29th, 2023……..Was a WCC All-Conference Honorable Mention
AS A JUNIOR (2022): Mostly coming out of the bullpen in his 13 appearances and also making one start in his junior campaign… Sanders compiled a 3-2 record with a 3.32 ERA and recorded a save… recorded two 4 inning outings to start the season with his season-high in strikeouts at 6 in each appearance… also recorded 12.3 K/9 with only 13 walks.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2021): Appeared in 15 games out of the bullpen for the Gaels as a sophomore...tossed 30.2 innings, the second-most among all Gael relievers...compiled a 2-3 record with a 7.34 ERA...struck out 41, for a 12.03 K/9, the second-best among any pitcher on the staff...had the longest outing of his career, which featured the most strikeouts, at Cal on April 21, where he went six innings and struck out eight, eventually earning the win...struck out seven across four innings in his final appearance, at Santa Clara, on May 22.
AS A FRESHMAN (2020): Appeared in two games during his first season at Saint Mary’s, both in relief…did not allow a run over 1.2 innings…made his collegiate debut on March 3 against San Jose State and faced three batters, which included his first collegiate strikeout…added two more punch outs across four outs in relief against Nevada in the season finale.

A left-handed pitcher from Quartz Hill high school in Lancaster...Lettered three times during his high school career...Recorded a 2.42 ERA through his varsity years while collecting 21 wins and only two losses...Pitched 144 innings total in high school and struck out 207 batters...Named Golden League Pitcher of the Year for both his junior and senior years.
