CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
AS A SENIOR (2024): Led the team with 23 appearances and made four starts for the Gaels in 2024... Finished with a 2.60 ERa and a 1.07 WHIP in 55.1 innings of work... Held a record of 5-1 on the mound with two saves and 62 strikeouts... Threw a season high seven scoreless innings allowing four hits and striking out six batters in a narrow non-conference defeat to Grand Canyon (4/6)... Named to the WCC Second Team for his first all-conference selection of his career.
AS A JUNIOR (2023): Appeared in 22 games with 8 starts on the mound….Recorded 46 strikeouts over 50 innings….Finished with a 6.84 ERA…Recorded season-high 6 strikeouts in a start against Portland in the WCC Semi-Final while allowing just two runs over five innings of work... Pitched five scoreless innings against San Diego in the Gaels 6-0 shutout of the Toreros to help SMC earn a WCC Tournament spot... pitched 4 shutout innings of relief in the Gaels 14-2 win over UC Davis on April 18.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2022): Wiltse appeared in 18 games and made 8 starts as a sophomore… he recorded a 4-2 record for the Gaels and a save… Wiltse only allowed a .251 average against to go with his 59 strikeouts in 60.2 innings… his best outing came on May 8 against the USF Dons with 7 IP and 5 K in the 4-3 victory.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Made eight appearances with seven starts for Fresno City College for a 2.17 ERA in 45.2 innings pitched with 17 walks and 52 strikeouts... Went 5-2 with one complete game and allowed just one home run... At Fresno Central hight had a 3.51 ERA in 87 innings pitched... Was named to the all NorCal Team, All Central Valley Conference First Team, and was named CVC Co Pitcher of the year.
