AS A SOPHOMORE (2021): Played in 15 games on the season starting 3 of them ... had one assist on the year in 36 minutes against Gonzaga ... took 6 shots on the year with 2 being on goal ... played a season high 47 minutes against Sacramento State.
AS A FRESHMAN (2020): Played in all nine matches and started in eight (season played during spring of 2021) … named to All-WCC Freshman Team … named WCC Offensive Player of the Week on Feb. 23 for his strong play against Pacific and Santa Clara … scored two goals, both against SCU … had the game-winning goal in his first career start against the Broncos on Feb. 21 … tied for third on the team with nine shots and had four on goal.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Rotter was a tri-sport athlete also competed in cross country and basketball while at Auburn Mountainview and was the captain of his soccer team for his final two seasons. Rotter scored 25 goals and had 12 assists during his high school career with his best full season coming as a junior. He was named NPSL 4A First Team All-League and MVP of his team that year. In addition to his high school team, Rotter also suited up for Pacific Northwest SC alongside Tyler Hardin. He will study business at Saint Mary's and has aspirations to play professionally post graduation.
