AS A SENIOR (2022-2023)
Cross Country: raced in three meets during the fall season
Track: raced in three meets during the fall season…During the track season, Jimenez raced in nine meets... set a best time in the mile at the Portland Indoor 2 with a time of 5:12.08…set a best time in the 800m at the West Coast last chance with a time of 2:05.13...11th fastest on the team...named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All District Team
AS A JUNIOR (2021-22)
Cross Country: Saw action in three races for the Gaels during the 2021 season...improved nearly two minutes in time from his first race of the season to the end of the year...his best time came at the Bronco Invitational on October 16, finishing in 27:44.8.
Track: Began the year by helping the Gaels finish in second in the 4x400m relay at the West Coast Opener on March 5...shaved seven seconds off of his 1500m time from his first try to his last try on the season, culminating in a PR of 4:19.64 at the Hartnell Open on April 23...added a 10-second PR at the end of the season in the 5000m, finishing the race in 16:53.41 at the West Coast Last Chance on May 15.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2020-21)
Cross Country: Did not compete during the abbreviated 2021 spring cross country season.
Track: Competed in four different meets for the Gaels as a sophomore...began his season by helping the Gaels get fifth in the 4x400m relay at the Spring Break Invitational on March 13...his relay team shaved off two seconds from their time to finish in second at the SCU Bay Area Duals on May 16...that same event, he had his best individual finish of the year with a seventh in the 800m, finishing in 2:10.95.
AS A FRESHMAN (2019-20)
Cross Country: Competed in all but one of the races for Saint Mary’s during the 2019 season...Made his collegiate debut on August 31 at the USF Invite where he raced a 26:29.5 time, good for 26th place in the field...Finished just outside of the SMC top-five at the Stump Invite where he ran a 26:56.8...Represented Saint Mary’s at the West Coast Conference Championship where he finished with a time of 28:31.4.
Track: Competed in just one meet for the Gaels in 2020…posted a personal best in his first collegiate event, the 800m at the Cal Opener on March 7, where he ran at 2:07.24, good for 12th place overall.
HIGH SCHOOL
A graduate of Christian Brothers High School. From Woodland, CA
Athletics: 2019 1600m and 3200m Capital Athletic League Champion. Ran a personal best 2:01 in the 800m, 4:24 in the 1600m, and a 9:32 in the 3200m.
