As a Senior (2013): Selected in the 39th round, pick No. 1150 overall by the Colorado Rockies in the MLB Draft... Appeared in 40 games making 23 starts… in 100 at-bats, had 22 hits, scored 14 runs with five extra base hits, including two home runs… also drew 13 walks and did not make an error in 44 outfield chances with two assists… hit .292 in WCC games, which ranked fifth amongst SMC starters in conference play… had six multi-hit games, with five coming against WCC opponents… home runs came against Santa Clara and BYU ... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll for academic excellence.
As a junior (2012): Played in 49 games making 49 starts for Saint Mary's...finished the year tied for fourth on the team with a .262 average, going 49-for-187...scored 24 runs and drove in 18, clubbed nine doubles, six triples and a home run for 16 extra base hits, all were career-bests...the six triples is tied for second most in a single-season at Saint Mary's...tallied 13 multi-hit games which was tied for second on the team...had six multiple-RBI games which was tied for second on the team...hit .449 as a leadoff hitter going 22-for-49...hit .310 with runners in scoring position and .327 with two outs...tied a career-high with four hits against San Diego State on 3/11 went 4-for-7 with two runs scored and two runs drive in and three legs of the cycle with a double and a triple to go along with a single...in West Coast Conference play he finished second on the team with a .267 average, going 23-for-86 with 11 runs scored and seven driven in...his 37 total bases in conference play was third on the team...he hit five doubles, three triples and a home run in WCC play...hit his first career home run on 4/7 against Pepperdine, went 2-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI's that game.
Summer League (2011): Played in 60 games for the Kitsap BlueJackets in the West Coast League with teammate Chris Murphy...hit .284 going 62-for-218...the 62 hits led the team and was second in the West Division and tied for fourth in the West Coast League...scored 31 runs with eight doubles, two triples and a home run...tallied 77 total bases with 18 runs batted in...finished the year with an impressive .410 on base percentage and a .353 slugging percentage...his .284 average was sixth in the West Division of the WCL.
As a sophomore (2011): Played in 36 games starting 27, both career-highs...finished the year with a .290 average going 27-for-93...tallied five doubles and a triple on the year...scored 16 runs while knocking in five...boasted a .366 slugging percentage and a .389 on base percentage...tallied 21 putouts with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage...hit .323 with runs on base and .419 with two outs...had four multi-hit games...in the Seattle series he went 6-for-13 with four runs scored and a triple...tallied a career-high four hits against Seattle on 5/22, also scored two runs and knocked in a run in that game...made 18 starts for the Gaels batting leadoff, where he hit .314.
As a freshman (2010): Appeared in 29 games with 10 starts as a true freshman...made his first appearance of the season in a pinch-hitting role against San Jose State on Feb. 19...made his first start of the season against Central Michigan on Feb. 28...recorded his first career hit in the game, going 1-for-2...had a career-high three hits, including his first career triple against Sacramento State on Mar. 9 when he was 3-for-4 against the Hornets...also had a career-high five RBI in the game...finished the year with a .308 batting average in 39 at-bats...had 12 hits, scored 11 runs, had seven RBI, two doubles and one triple...was 2-for-3 in stolen base attempts.
High School: Comes to Saint Mary's from Regis Jesuit High School (Aurora, CO), where the outfielder helped lead his team to a no. 7 ranking in Colorado...was named to the Colorado All-State team as a senior, and to the Academic All-State teams as both a junior and a senior...participated in the Colorado Rockies 2009 pre-draft workout...off the field, he was named to Regis Jesuit's academic honor roll all four years, and received a leadership award for his involvement with the Special Olympics.
