AS A FRESHMAN (2025): Appeared in 27 games and made nine starts as the team's top pinch hitter and a backup third baseman... As a true freshman, Petit finished with a .408 batting average, a .551 slugging percentage, a .491 on-base percentage and a 1.042 OPS... In his 49 at bats, Petit recorded 20 hits, four doubles, one home run, ten RBI and scored eleven runs... Petit recorded his first collegiate hit and RBI with an RBI double in a 16-1 win over Saint Louis... He had a career high three hits including his first collegiate home run in a 12-11 conference win over Gonzaga... Made his first career start in an 8-0 win over Utah Tech where he went 1-for-2... Recorded a pinch hit single in the NCAA Regional against #8 Oregon State.  

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: La Costa Canyon HS

Attended La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad, California... He had a career .285 batting average and was a All-Coastal League First Team selection.
