AS A FRESHMAN (2026):
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Jake Nobles attended Villa Park High School and was a two-year varsity player... Finished the 2025 season with a .394 BA, 28 hits, 13 runs scored, one home run and 16 RBI... Also made 12 appearances on the mount for Villa Park, finishing his senior season with a 0.33 ERA, a 6-1 record, two complete games, 51 strikeouts in 42.2 innings pitched... Named Prep Baseball California Pitcher of the Week after just the second week of the 2025 high school season... Villa Park finished with a 25-8 record in 2025 and placed second in the Crestview League with an 8-4 record... Defeated Granite Hills 5-4 in extra innings to advance to the Division I Regional semifinals with St. John Bosco.
