AS A SENIOR (2026): Played in 59 games and made 59 starts as the team's everyday shortstop... Finished the season with a .315 batting average, a .373 on-base percentage, a .416 slugging percentage and a .789 OPS... Recorded 69 hits, nine doubles, two triples, three home runs, 30 RBI and 31 runs scored... Finished the season with 21 multi-hit games including seven three-hit performances... Hit a career best .315 from the plate along with a career high 69 hits... Hit his first home run of the season in a 12-7 defeat to CSUN (2/21)... Went 3-for-3 with a run scored and a season high three RBI in a 10-4 victory over UC Santa Barbara (3/24)... Finished the WCC Tournament with eight hits and five runs scored... Recorded a career high four hits in a 12-10 conference win over Santa Clara where he had three RBI and scored two runs... Had 17 multi-hit games on the season including four home runs against Saint Louis, Vanderbilt, LMU and San Francisco... AS A SOPHOMORE (2024): Played in 52 games and made 50 starts for the Gaels as the team's primary shortstop... Mettam finished with a .256 batting average, recording 40 hits, 7 doubles, a triple and a home run. He also tied the team lead with 11 stolen bases and held a .341 on-base percentage... Mettam's season high came in a 9-4 win vs. San Francisco where he went 3-4 from the plate and was a homer shy of the cycle (4/21).
