AS A FRESHMAN (2025): Played in 24 games and made ten starts as a true freshman for the Gaels... Nicholson was one of the team's top pinch hitters and also played second base... Finished the season with a .333 batting average, .433 slugging percentage, .439 on-base percentage and an .872 OPS... Recorded ten hits, three doubles, eight RBI in his 30 at bats and scored six runs... Recorded his first collegiate hit in a pinch hit situation in a 19-9 win over San Diego State... Earned his first collegiate start as the DH in game two of that series, recording a hit in his four at bats in the team's 5-2 win over San Diego State... Recorded a career high two hits twice in conference defeats to San Diego... Recorded two multi-RBI games with a pair of RBI against Cal and Sacramento State.
