AS A JUNIOR (2026): Played in 62 games and made 62 starts as a junior for the Gaels in 2026... Finished the season with a .342 batting average, a .477 on-base percentage, a .545 slugging percentage and a 1.022 OPS... Recorded 79 hits, 22 doubles, five triples, five home runs, 42 RBI, 60 runs scored and 18 stolen bases... Recorded career highs in games played, hits, doubles, triples, home runs, RBI, runs scored, batting average, OB%, SLG%, OPS and stolen bases... Led the team with 30 multi-hit games this season... Recorded a season high three hits in eight different games... Led the team and ranked 13th in NCAA Division I with 22 doubles... Finished with a .247 batting average, .328 slugging percentage, .413 on-base percentage and a .741 OPS... Recorded 46 hits, seven doubles, one triple, two home runs, 25 RBI and scored 47 runs... Ranked 10th in Division I with 28 hit by pitches and led the WCC... Ranked second on the team with 15 stolen bases and had a .982 fielding percentage in center field... Recorded a career high four hits and five RBI in a 19-9 non-conference win over San Diego State... Had a solo home run against Big East member Creighton and a two-run homer in a 9-4 win over LMU... Recorded eight multi-hit games on the season.
AS A FRESHMAN (2024): Tanner Griffith made his Saint Mary's debut as a true freshman playing in 52 games and making 17 starts... In 70 at bats, Griffith recorded 21 hits, scored 27 runs, had two doubles and a homer to give himself a .300 average and an .829 OPS... He also added 15 walks and stole ten bases good for second most on the team... His season high came in a narrow one-run defeat to Grand Canyon where he recorded a season high three hits (4/6)... He also went 2-3 and scored four runs for the Gaels in a 14-0 victory over rival Gonzaga (3/30).
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY’S: From Livermore, CA attending De La Salle High School … won MVP as a sophomore, coach’s award as a junior, silver slugger and gold glove as a senior … won NCS and NorCal in 2022 and 2023 … named first team All-EBAL and first team All-State while also being MVP according to multiple news outlets
