AS A SOPHOMORE (2024): Played in 52 games and made 50 starts for the Gaels as the team's primary shortstop... Mettam finished with a .256 batting average, recording 40 hits, 7 doubles, a triple and a home run. He also tied the team lead with 11 stolen bases and held a .341 on-base percentage... Mettam's season high came in a 9-4 win vs. San Francisco where he went 3-4 from the plate and was a homer shy of the cycle (4/21).
AS A FRESHMAN (2023): Appeared and started 51 games.. .Batted .255….Recorded 48 hits over 188 at-bats including 9 doubles, 1 triple, and 7 home runs….Named to WCC All-Freshman Team…Recorded season-high 3 hits in a match up against Illinois-Chicago on February 17, 2023…..Recorded season-high 2 home runs against Fresno State on May 18th, 2023
