AS A SENIOR (2021-22)
Cross Country: Ran in four races for the Gaels during his senior season...shaved nearly 1:20 off his time from his first race of the season (San Francisco Invite) to his last race of the season (Bronco Invitational)...in the Bronco Invitational, he ran the 8k distance in 26:57.3.
Track: Began the season with a ninth place finish in the 800m and helped the Gaels win the 4x400m relay at the West Coast Opener on March 5...ran the same two races at the Hartnell Open on April 23 and scored more impressive results: second in the 4x400m relay, and a personal best in the 800m, where he broke the two-minute mark with his time of 1:57.69, good for fourth overall...finished in 11th-place at the Johnny Mathis Meet in the middle of April in the 1500m with a time of 4:03.01.
AS A JUNIOR (2020-21)
Cross Country: Raced in the Jessup Invite during the shortened 2021 spring cross country season...finished 16th overall with his time of 27:53.7.
Track: Competed at seven different meets during his junior track season, proving to be one of the fastest Gaels...was in the top-20 in five different events during the year, including a fourth-place finish in the 4x400m relay at the Fresno State Invitational...set a PR in the 1500m by becoming just one of a handful of Gaels to run it in under four minutes, finishing the Bryan Clay Invite at 3:59.93...also set a PR the following week with a 1:58.21 in the 800m, surpassing the two minute mark for the first time in his career.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2019-20)
Cross Country: Competed in all six races for the Gaels during the 2019 season...Raced a personal record time of 25:26 at the Bronco Invite on October 19...Represented Saint Mary’s at both the West Coast Conference Championships on November 1 (26:15.5, 3rd place for SMC) and the NCAA West Regionals on November 15 (33:32.1)
Track: Competed in both meets for the Gaels in 2020…began his season at the West Coast Invitational and posted an 8thplace finish in the 1500m with a time of 4:06.04, the fourth-fastest 1500m by a Gael in 2020…ended his year at the Cal Opener with a 9:01.26 in the 3000m, good for 17th place…both results earned him personal bests.
AS A FRESHMAN (2018-19)
Cross Country: D'amelia competed in five meets for Saint Mary's during his freshman season...Recorded his highest finish (51st) in the first meet of the season at the USF Invitational with a time of 26.48.4...Raced a 26:48.4 again in the 8K at the WCC Championship to help the team secure a fifth place finish, their best since 2001.
